5/ For lenders:. Unlike peer-to-peer DLC lending products, Side Lending is a liquidity-pool-based protocol where lenders deposit assets into permissionless pools on Side Chain and receive sTokens (e.g., sUSDC), which accrue interest from borrower repayments and liquidations.
