I never want to give the impression that I speak on behalf of the entire disability community. But there is one thing I'm pretty confident is universal: the desire for a more inclusive, more accessible world. To reach that, we can't return to "normal." We must return to better.

Wheelchair user here. I don't actually want or need this. It isn't helpful. It doesn't account for inaccessibility beyond entry points. Tech companies: stop wasting money on building robotic "fixes." Support elimination of structural inaccessibility.

State-funded group homes in NY are facing a funding crisis due to cuts from the state & federal government. If funding is cut to these homes nearly 38,000 individuals with disabilities who reside in a residential setting will be drastically impacted.

Should be off Twitter recovering from surgery but my cover story for @NewMobilityMag is live & TBH, it's my magnum opus on the problems with disability as inspiration. Sincerely hope it's a useful resource for anyone pushing back against #InspirationPorn.
