I am not AFRAID to talk up anymore. I found out I had been released from the club I had joined at the age of 14 through a local newspaper. Ultimately, this was the end of Simon Johnson where football was concerned. I just wasn’t strong enough to deal with that low. CHANGE NEEDED
We’re saddened to learn of the passing of former Manchester City academy player Jeremy Wisten. He sadly took his own life due to depression on the back of being released by City. He was just 17 years old. More needs to be done 😢

Ben Lewis arrived at the academy October 2019 and weighed in at just over 19 stone. I challenge the students every single day to be a better version of themselves. He is now just over 15 stone and being sounded out by step 6/7 clubs which is a huge achievement. So proud ❤️
