BREAKING: Marco Lorenzini has quit as a councillor - Harlow Council say.
It comes after a Twitter account emerged where he retweeted comments described as racist and abhorrent.
The Conservatives had withdrawn the whip and were in the process of expelling him from the party.
5 days after he won a seat on Harlow Council by just 4 votes, Cllr Marco Lorenzini has had the whip removed by the Conservatives and they are asking him to quit as a Councillor.
