This is a Frank Smith trade. They were very close when Smith coached Waller in Vegas. Wouldn’t surprise me if Smith was involved in talking him out of retirement.

I thought Jalen Ramsey's play slowed significantly in the second half of 2024 and whilst it's unclear on whether Miami are paying some, none or all of his salary for 2026, when you look on talent alone mano y mano, it's hard to argue that the Dolphins didn't 'win' this trade.
