While I don't care about riftbound at all, it reminds of me what was the main motivation killer for one piece tcg, which is that I failed to sign up for 3 regionals in a row. Sign ups closed within 1-2 minutes for each event. 0% chance botting was not involved.
This morning’s demand for the Qualifiers was off the chart. We continue to be humbled by the response to these shows, and acknowledge the purchase experience fell short of our expectations. We are actively discussing improvements for the future.

Reminds me of when I was at an FNM and I asked a death shadow player if health lost during the combat step also made the death shadow stronger at the same time. Guy gave me a super hard time about not knowing how that worked. Even if it's scrubby it shouldn't work that way.
I'm astounded by this take. There's a huge range of rules questions you can and should ask judges at Comp REL, and use the answers to inform your plays. I keep my rules knowledge pretty sharp, but I'll still ask about an interaction sometimes even if I'm 95% sure about it.
