I have lost all the confidence in the brand and have refrained myself from purchasing another product from @madebygoogle.The quick software updates would be a great only if they are tested before or the hardware is reliable enough and not break a phone in just a year.

Even considering there was an issue with the motherboard, now I am liable to pay the cost for a defective hardware that was sold just because the phone is one month past its 1 year limited warranty and raises the question about its reliability.

When asked about the patch issued to fix the same issue, it was outright denied that the software update could brick the phone. I have attached a screenshot of the patch released and a link to it.

It took almost 2 weeks for the support team to pick the phone, a week later and after constant emails for updates. The diagnosis report says there is a issue with the mother board without any reason for it.

The issue began right after the update where it would randomly shut down and get stuck in a boot loop and turn back on after multiple attempts. This happened thrice randomly when using it and then never turned back on.

Bought the Pixel 6A for its quick software updates but little did I know it would be the problem. For some context, my pixel 6a was working totally fine without any issues until I updated it to android 14.

When I called, there’s an unexpected inspection fee, not mentioned in the initial mail. Agreed to pay, but it’s been more than a week, and still no response even after escalating to L1 support. Feeling frustrated and let down. #PixelIssues.

Hey @madebygoogle, really disappointed with my Pixel phone’s situation. After the Android 14 update, it started randomly rebooting and now it won’t turn on at all. I raised a service request, was promised a pickup in 2 days, but no follow-up even after a week and escalations.
