If you’re on the fence about DSA, here’s my take:. - You don’t need it if you’re happy sticking to frameworks. - But if you want to build core systems that don’t break at scale,. you’ll eventually need it.

This is why I started taking DSA seriously. Not just to clear interviews. But because I don’t want to be another developer who just uses frameworks. I want to be an engineer who can build the systems the world runs on.

For those in college thinking:. - “It’s a one-time scenario, bro.”. It’s not. If you want to:. - Create a database. - Build a browser. - Work on compilers. - Design storage engines. you’ll need DSA, deeply.

This made me realize:.✅ Framework knowledge can help you build. ✅ But DSA helps you build systems that scale.

As I moved to backend, I hit a wall. I was building a demo system and used a brute force GPT algorithm. It worked fine at small scale, but with 1L-5L transactions, it started to break. It was just a demo, so it passed. But if it was in production, it would have failed badly.

I didn’t start my journey aiming to be a software engineer. I wanted to get into product design. I was the head of design in my college club. Got my current job as a design intern → front-end → back-end.

That's what I used to think. You’ll find tons of people on YouTube saying:.- “You don’t need DSA.”.- “It’s just for interviews.”. And it makes you think:.- “If it’s only for interviews, why go deep into it?”.

Day 8 ✅. - Got through some more greedy approach Qs. - Had deliverables, wrapped those up. - Gym❌woke up late, skipped. - Most of the day went in office calls and fixing minor bugs. Felt like a lot of time wasted, but at least kept the reps going. #streaking.

Hey can someone give me a concrete solution to stick to a deadline for side projects. please no:.- make promise to yourself.- stick to a deadline on your own.- no respect for yourself. because:.- it’s my deadline, I can push it anytime.- yeah, I don’t respect myself enough, cool.

Day - 7 ✅.- Started with Greedy Approach concepts and questions. - Had office work to be done. - Gym rest day & Diet cheat day😋.(Since I'm not on a strict diet it's fine). - Some my mind bending thinking and posting the same. #streak.
