Just recruited a director for the dementia center. Current staff: assistant director @iKhushbooVerma, RN, RN navigator, NP, MA, blood testing for AD, MRI scans, Amyloid PET, & educational resources in Smith County. Dementia Center will be a game changer for East TX. @uttylersom.

July 1, 2025, marks the beginning of a new Neurology residency program in East Texas at @uttylersom .Pictures were taken this morning as Bootcamp starts with 4 new residents. Dr. Golden & Dr. Kowalski kick-starting boot camp on day # 1. Exciting times ahead.

I used Medisummary to create a full power Pt. I collected AI generated info, reviewed & saved in Word, converted to PDF, uploaded on MSumm, generated slides, copied over to my power pt., thoughtfully edited for accuracy & voila! Ready for bootcamp lecture # 1. @uttylersom.

Program directors and coordinators are hard at work on Neurology residency schedules. We are almost there, and 3 weeks until the residents get here. It's the start of an amazing experience in our new Neurology program.

I am seriously thinking about starting an FND fellowship and am already thinking of what a curriculum might look like. Not sure where the funding may come from and how many people might want to train. Or perhaps make a 1-year movement + 1-year FND track. Thoughts?.
