In 2012 Shawne Alston was a RB @WVUfootball while I was an athletics intern studying @wvulaw. Ten years later I have the opportunity w/ @IconSource to empower 550+ athletes @wsuathletics because he used his NIL for change. Awesome be part of the evolution of college athletics.

When I sent this email to @VoteBaumgartner my current job was illegal. I thought experiences with football/USMC would take me to the Palouse (it didn't). Apparently, Navigating #NIL is more akin to piracy, maneuver warfare, and counter-insurgency than Air Raid principles 😂.
