Sheldon NPT officers have arrested and charged a persistent shop lifter for 2 offences at Sheldon Retail Park. Shop lifting is not a victimless offence and can have a significant impact on local businesses and their staff.

Sheldon Speedwatch team have conducted a Speedwatch event this morning on Common Lane...445 vehicles checked 14 vehicles travelling over the 30mph limit between 08-30/09-30hrs

Sheldon Officers have been on patrol throughout the retail park during these darker nights providing reassurance and high visibility to our local stores

Today Sheldon PCSO's and the community speedwatch team conducted a operation on Barrows lane. Over 400 cars checked with only 1 vehicle speeding. #OpAdvance @Trafficwmp

Tonight, we were joined on our patrol by PCSO's Davies and Carr from @SheldonWMP, and there were no issues 🙂

We recently conducted a speedwatch operation on Horse Shoes Lane where we welcomed our special guest @BrumLordMayor A number of vehicles were found to be over the speed limit and will be receiving their letter shortly 📩

This morning PCSOs have completed a speed watch on Sheldon Heath Road alongside The deputy PCC Wasim Ali and Councillor Miah. 822 vehicles were checked, 6 will be dealt with accordingly, and 1 vehicle was seized for no insurance after occupants made off.

Thanks to PC Toland for helping the Sheldon Speedwatch team yesterday on Horrell Rd. The new road layout doesn't seem to deter drivers from adhering to 30mph limit. 230 vehicles passed through 13 above the speed limit 📨 in the post. Thanks, team 👍 Pcso Carr

Whilst on patrol, Sheldon Pcso's have found and recovered a stolen vehicle,soon to be reunited with its owner. 😊👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

Sheldon Community Speedwatch completed another event this afternoon on Manor House Lane/ Ollerton rd. Local residents' concerns were evidenced with high speeds recorded. Polite reminder it's 30mph for a reason. Thanks, team, for your continued support 👍

In recent days Sheldon NHT have recovered stolen vehicles, held a crime prevention pop up stand and carried out a patrol with our fantastic @SCPStreetWatch team !!😀 We are in the process of arranging a residents meeting and will send the dates and location once confirmed.

Today, we've been on a very sunny and pleasant patrol with PCSO's Davies and Carr from @SheldonWMP. It was great to see so many people using the Country Park in the lovely weather, and thanks to those who said hi. We also reported a fallen road sign on the A45 on FixMyStreet.

Sheldon NHT have conducted a warrant in the early hours of this morning with the support of @OSU_WMP @dronesWMP @WMPDogs One male is currently in custody for cultivation of cannabis and a large quantity of drugs have been seized.
