This! KNN and decision trees are delightfully intuitive and easy to understand, and the math’s simpler. Great starting spot for your ML journey, especially if you want a deeper understanding instead of only using black box API’s
Neural networks are the wrong place to start your ML journey :) I see so many people, so confused, all the time. Instead, you want to start with models like kNN, and Decision Trees. Things you can clearly visualize, and intuitively understand.
