Since there were so many memorable Halloween displays in Sheboygan this year, the photo galleries will be separated into two categories: day and night. Here are over 80 photos taken during the day.

The Howards Grove girls volleyball team and the Plymouth and Sheboygan Christian-Sheboygan Lutheran boys soccer teams are headed to state after winning their sectional final matchups on Saturday. Read more below.

With the win, Christian-Lutheran advances to state for the third straight year. The Eagles have played in the state title game each of the last two seasons, including beating Oostburg in an epic battle that ended on penalty kicks in 2021.

This is the second of three collections of photos featuring some of the best Halloween decorations in the county. Included are photos from Plymouth, Waldo, Elkhart Lake, Random Lake and Adell. Check back on Monday for collection #3 - Sheboygan.

The four-story complex, which is a project of Partners for Community Development, will consist of three floors of apartments with 35 one-bedroom, four two-bedroom and five three-bedroom units, along with a lower level parking garage.

This is the first in a series of three collections of photos representing some of the best Halloween decorations in the county. Included in this first edition are photos from Kohler, Sheboygan Falls, Howards Grove, Oostburg and Cedar Grove.

Greece e Spoon, which closed its physical location on April 1, has been operating solely as a food truck and catering operation since then. In addition to serving lunch, the reopened restaurant will return to serving at dinner time hours.

With Halloween fast approaching, Sheboygan County’s kids are eager to get out in their communities and gather all the goodies the season has to offer. Here are all the dates and times for trick or treating this year.

Mayor Meyer, who is blind himself, shared his personal journey with the students before answering their questions and treating them to lunch. The students, who ranged from eighth to 12th grades, are from Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Calumet Counties.

The cost of the program is $10, and includes a 100+ page resource manual, training materials, and light food and beverages. Deadline for registration is Oct. 23.

Kohler and Sheboygan Falls will each be sending one singles competitor and one doubles team to compete in the Division 2 portion of the tournament. Sheboygan County does not have any state qualifiers in Division 1.

The Sheboygan DPW addressed traffic signal upgrades at two of the city's busiest intersections, a splash pad for Cleveland Park, and funding for the planned pedestrian bridge connecting the riverfront and South Pier.

The festival will feature a craft and vendor fair on Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., along with live music, outdoor games, tractor rides, food and drinks, a petting zoo and pony rides both days.

Bemis comes in at 52 on this year’s list, and is the only first-time inclusion for 2023. Among county employers, Kohler Co. led the way at eighth, while Acuity placed 21st, Sargento 26th and Masters Gallery 28th. Read more about the rankings below.

The event is an “unscary” alternative for Halloween, and will include short skits by local 4-H clubs, food, games, a pumpkin carving contest, petting zoo, photo booth and hayrides.
