Seattles defense is only going to get better btw the longer they play together. 49ers have a problem on their hands and they must have an elite draft class next year, even if fully healthy.

Brock Purdy finishes the regular season No. 2 in QBR at 73.1, behind Drake Maye's 77.2. Jalen Hurts was 20th at 55.9. Purdy was 8th in passer rating at 100.5. Hurts was 12th at 98.5. 49ers' best chance on Sunday is if Purdy carries them... and Hurts can't answer.

@thewaynebreezie I don't think he should be fired, I think he needs to hire an OC and just be the head coach. He gets outcoached in virtually every big game. Seattle went with 4 lineman and 6 DBs the entire game and he had no answers. Most yardage was on off -script plays by Purdy. OLIne was

Macdonald sets a trap on Purdy w the rush here. Sends 5, purposefully splitting the b gap w the LB & S and containing the edge w Reed. Thomas gets good pressure to flush Purdy out. Hall on the other side collapses the edge, then spins back into the b gap for an easy sack.

Exactly. Fred or Nick don't fix that AT ALL! Don't forget Kevin Givens another waste of a roster spot. If you're soft in the middle the whole defense is soft. Swung and missed on Armstead and Hargrave. Lynch should know better but he doesn't.

Misplaced to expect coaching and development? That's literally his job regardless of injuries. We've seen the same players make the same mistakes the entire season. Fred and Nick don't fix that- coaching should. Did you see Saleh coaching up any position group Saturday night?
I see this a lot and here's my response: Saleh is being paid ~100k more than Yetur Gross-Matos. Putting a ton of blame at the feet of Saleh when there's 2 of the highest paid players at their positions on IR and mistakes on the field, is misplaced. In the end, there's a reason

A lot more needs to be done with this d-line. Even with Bosa they are not disruptive enough collectively, and he’s coming off his 3rd ACL procedure. Need players that shed blocks and disrupt plays. The scheme calls for an aggressive, gap penetrating front and we hardly see it.

Purdy looked shell shocked vs Seattle. Tall, physical and athletic fronts are his krytonite We needed tough, smart and evasive Brock. We got overwhelmed Brock. His genius coach and porous o line did nothing to help him out. He gets paid for those type of games
