It has been well documented in our DECON campaign that firefighters may be exposed to biological or radiation hazards as well as toxic and persistent contaminants released from fires and that these contaminants can also be passed through breastmilk to babies 🚒

Israeli authorities have impounded a fire engine donated by Scottish firefighters to aid Palestinian firefighters. Yesterday, we went to the Israeli Assembly to deliver a letter demanding the fire engine is released. Firefighters must be able to protect and save lives.
