Excited to see this view more often, now that I've accepted an offer of admittance to the MEd Coaching Studies program @uvic. Learned about it in 2017 & have had my eyes on it ever since. Nowhere I'd rather be for my graduate studies, can't wait to get started in July!

What a mess in Nanaimo tonight. Game postponed @ClippersHockey @BCHockeyLeague
. @ClippersHockey and @CranbrookBucks have left the bench area. Through bouts of bad weather this game was not meant to be played. The teams waited until almost 9:30 with no power and no indication of when it would come back on. #ElvisHasLeftTheBuilding

Students worked in groups this week to participate in my "Master Chef" challenge. They designed projects using a mystery ingredient, which for this semester was an early-1900's upright piano. Thanks to @GeoffJSteel, @kim_hart9 & @CoachBMcWhinnie for judging! @sd68bc @dover_bay

I tend to forget I have Twitter for months at a time. Old news to some, but I'm excited to have achieved both of my major life goals by joining the staff at @dover_bay on a continuing contract. Surreal to finally be back home in Nanaimo. Next major targets have already been set!

Halfway through the school year! This trebuchet was a highlight from the 2nd quarter, made by a group of grade 6 students at Dunsmuir. Fired a chocolate ball an average distance of 144 inches across 4 launches! #teched @SD62_Sooke

Forgot to share this when it was released a couple weeks ago. Stoked to have @Yiannis_Tsala join us to chat about space artists and TGFU/differential learning

We're 1/4 of the way through the school year! A lot of problem solving and planning on the fly for me, and a totally new course focused on problem solving for my students. So exciting to see the things they come up with and share the excitement when they achieve success!

Discussing the importance of fundamental movement skills, knowing when to correct or leave alone old habits, and the benefits of using simple team systems rather than relying on complex plays. Episode 2 of Coaching the Coaches with @Con_Lawrence97 out now: https://t.co/XtbsGvxeuD

I recently joined @Con_Lawrence97 on a podcast episode that he recorded as an assignment in his @umanitoba Ed degree. The feedback was positive (he got an A) so we're turning it into a biweekly production focusing on pertinent topics in coaching/PE. Enjoy https://t.co/LQaX5AvV81

My grade 6's have informed me that I am a "Meme God" and need to start a Twitter to bless your timelines. My grade 8's think I'm a loser, and my 7's are just confused most of the time, but regardless this account will now primarily feature the memes you didn't know you needed.

Huge loss for @UWDeptKIN and @UWpg_Education. It was a pleasure to be part of @DrNateHall's last (and favourite) class at @uwinnipeg. We are all better teachers as a result of learning from you!
Friday was my last day working for @uwinnipeg. Such a terrific University that offers students an incredible learning environment. It was a privilege to start my career here working with so many amazing students & colleagues who constantly inspired me. Thank you for everything!
