Dan is one of the really good guys in our business who has dedicated the majority of his professional career serving @SBAthletics and our student-athletes. A great coach and arguably the most well-liked person in our department, Dan will be missed by all of us.
After more than 20 years at Stony Brook, Dan Rickard has accepted a position as Athletic Director at The Stony Brook School. We cannot thank Dan enough for his contributions to the basketball programs and Stony Brook Athletics. Congratulations and best of luck to Coach Rickard!

Nothing slows down for @SBAthletics in the summer! Our student-athletes and staff are invested like never before, and we're all excited to enter the new world of Division I athletics together. We're also launching phase one of our baseball/softball stadium renovation next month!.

Wishing all of my fellow dads an incredible Father’s Day. Being a dad to my three kids is a blessing, and I was so lucky to have a dad who taught me what unconditional love was all about. I miss him every day but know he’s smiling down on all of us. ❤️
