Be honest. If Giselle dropped a tour announcement right now, the think pieces would be nonstop about ICE, politics, and “reading the room,” like y’all did with the LA fires. Other major tours get grace & praise. The only real complaints seem to be price and residency-style tours.

This is kinda true and it’s becoming the standard which is frustrating. It wouldn’t be so bad if the ticket prices weren’t already so damn outrageous. Paying anywhere from $400-$1200 for a decent seat and THEN having to pay for travel and accommodations is crazy!
Maybe unpopular opinion, but I hate this residence type touring because it basically shifts the costs of travel to the fans. It used to be the artists trying to get to many fans as possible, now WE have to spend extra money on flights and hotels if we want to see the show
