Dental check up. Gold star on gum health. So worried about my jaw dislocating that I think that it’s fair to say that neither of us enjoyed the experience. My jaw dislocated twice during a dental procedure 3 years ago. Never before. Never since. But we are both still traumatised

Glad that Hamnet is winning big awards right now. I see the film on Friday. I saw the play in the West End. I read the book long before and it captivated me. Maggie O’Farrell is a tremendous writer. Also, she is still alive and actively writing. Which is always a bonus 😊

One year on (tomorrow) since I retired and I haven’t logged on since 😊

Just after lunch time on a Friday and I’ve already had the opportunity to use “nuance” in a text. Who says that retirement rots your brain? 😂

I don’t need to “do” anything. I just like my life. I am contented. I’m very lucky in that respect 😊 I “do” spend a ridiculous amount of time looking at holidays but obviously that wasn’t the answer they were after 😬

No “to do” list. Isn’t that the point? I never feel guilty about it. I’m quite lucky in that I’m often alone but never feel lonely. I am NEVER bored. I relish my time and I have lots of things to look forward to, catching up with friends and, well, just “being”.

“So what do you DO all day?” Someone asked me this the other day and I really didn’t have an answer? Did it make me anxious? Perhaps because I wasn’t “doing” enough? At one time it might have done. But not now. I “do” or “don’t do” whatever I like. I have no timetable.

Okay. I’ve booked up Greece for most next year. Yamas!
