I think @MuckleShauna makes an excellent point about the value of those high-priced theme park Halloween events vs the creativity and downright funny efforts by indie parks like @Screamageddon in Dade City. Great read in today’s @TB_Times

Note that @UniversalORL now requires guests using mobility devices, including wheelchairs, to walk independently to ride Stardust Racers. Previously, Universal allowed guests to transfer with minor assistance. This ride really tosses you around. Too much?

Current FCC rules cap TV conglomerates from owning stations that reach more than 39% of TV households. Nexstar is trying to acquire its rival Tegna, a monopolistic merger that would blow past that rule, reaching 80% of households. Nexstar pulled Kimmel off the air last night.

I have ridden Stardust Racers at Epic Universe @UniversalORL and I was wobbly after. It’s a fierce ride so that fact that the rider was in his 30s is concerting. Have they finally come up with a lethal coaster? @TB_Times @FLCoasterClub

I’ve had a blast, but time has come for me to retire. Let this be a lesson for your kids. At 25 years old my future hubby pestered me to sign up for 401k, and now at 59.5 yrs old I can have that large chunk of change so I will take advantage of what my young self offered me.
