Public facilities like libraries and public pools keep our communities and clubs thriving. It’s why the Albanese Government is partnering with local government to deliver energy upgrades and bill savings.

Greens and Liberals teaming up again to stand in the way of thousands of homes for vulnerable Australians. Every day of delay is more than $1.3 million that does not go to housing for people that need it. $250 million every six months.

Our strong climate targets are giving businesses the certainty they need to invest in renewable energy. And it's working - investment in large scale solar and wind projects is up nearly 50% in the last year. It's good for the environment, good for jobs, and for the economy too.

Aus Parl should be a model employer. We know there were very serious allegations made. In workplaces, in communities, in families, there are women who are profoundly impacted by these conversations. I ask you to keep those women's pain & trauma in mind when you enter this debate.

There's been a lot of commentary in the last few days about historical events that took place in this building. I don't wish to comment on matters unfolding, but I do remind all of us to be very careful about the contributions we make to this debate. #auspol

I implore the Greens to stop this political game. Get off that roundabout that's taking you nowhere. Support those vulnerable Australians that need our help now. It is time to stop the game, stop the faux protest, get on board and do something truly progressive for this nation.

The Govt has done everything we can now to talk and have respectful negotiations, not just with the Greens but the whole Parliamentary system. Those that have given this serious thought and consideration, who have gone back and spoken to their communities will be voting yes.
