Yes, I did have control over my account briefly, but I didn't realize I needed to re-add my email account and phone number to my original Twitter account. It was entirely my fault.

I don't expect everyone to see this message anytime soon, but I will explain why it happens. If people don't remember it. For a brief summary, I got hacked on Facebook when I was in a group DM with an old friend without realizing that one of them had been hacked in the group DM.
