These three early-career researchers have been awarded funding for ecology projects in 2023 thanks to the Margaret Middleton Fund for endangered Australian native vertebrate animals. Congratulations Emma Carmichael, Ariana La Porte & Dr Shaina Russell.

The Yirralka Rangers and I identified and tagged the photos from our first camera trap deployment in the Laynhapuy IPA. We were excited to see Yolŋu priority species rupu (nb possums) and wan’kurra (nb bandicoots), and a Spectacled Hare Wallaby! @XCultureEcology @nature_org
