This sort of thing is common. Obviously, I didn't fall for it, but it's horrific for some people, who truly believe they are going to get this money. Being an #indiecreator is hard. Funding your creative project where you have to pay everyone and get nothing yourself is harder.

These accounts pledged to my project in an attempt to #scam me - a marketer claimed to be doing work on my project, unsolicited and free. They tried to get me to pay 10% of what was pledged immediately - before @Kickstarter took the money from the accounts. Then they withdrew.
