Our Cops can’t get their ‘Kit Off’ not even in this heat. A snapshot of the kit; please offer your support, water, a little shade, a thank you for all they do. Please don’t berate them for eating out, and to our cops, you must eat, drink. Stay Hydrated. We ♥️ you.

interview with Professor JVT, so informative, funny, real, straight talking thank you. Piers, get JVT on Life Stories, he’s fascinating
Incredible professionalism ending in Essex by our armed cops, following pursuit after knife point robbery. Despite repeated ignored commands to get out of the car the officers remain resilient and it is to their credit that no injuries were sustained.
@metpoliceuk
@MPSFirearms
These were 15 & 14 yr kids! 2 boys, 2 girls, all arrested. Total disregard for anyone’s safety. This situation could have resulted in a fatality. I wonder if the parents knew where their children were at 9:25am yesterday. They will absolutely have known soon after.
@metpoliceuk
My cousin had car accident two days ago, no injury but shaken. A passing
@MetTaskforce
stopped to see if she was ok, she burst into tears, they sat her in the van, comforted her and she has not stopped singing their praises! TSG, don’t just catch bad guys, they show compassion 💪🏾
Ten days after I joined
@metpoliceuk
my nephew was born. He’s now an
@MPSFirearms
officer and new daddy to a beautiful little girl. I burst with pride the work, training commitment he and our firearms cops display daily to keep London safe. Proud he followed aunties footsteps!
@DinsLDN
I am incredibly proud that this officer is one of mine, despite your attempts to belittle a young man in the prime of his career, the officer maintained a professional & respectful tone towards you. I wonder if your parents would be as proud of you as we are of one of our finest
This serving
@metpoliceuk
officer is my nephew with
@MPSFirearms
so smart, so professional, all of them! To say I’m spectacularly proud of him is an understatement, and to add to my bursting pride, he passed the Sergeants exam!! Following in aunties footsteps!! Inshallah
I am proud to say I have 30 years policing service today, 27 on the frontline, and I’ve loved it! What a roller coaster ride, amazing highs and some terrible lows. Big decision time, but, unlike Brexit, Mexit will be a lot easier. It’s a big world out there. Thank you people ♥️
Meet PC Huckle, still here off nights, she’s a Top Frontline Cop, with a Top Result! This suspect had been on the run, wanted for over two years for serious GBH. These are the cops that keep you safe. Thank you PC Huckle, you made my day! 🙏🏾

I just withdrew £20 from cash point and forgot to take the cash! Walked into shop, a young 15yr boy came in handed me my cash, said you left it in the machine, so chuffed at the honesty, gave him a tenner. Be fair to say we made each others day. Plenty of honest people out there
A young man in the prime of his career and the prime of a marriage commitment to his beautiful lady. We are tough as cops, but I won’t lie, I balled my eyes out when I saw this. Prayers for family and loved ones and for the strength of all our police family 🙏🏾
I hope this selection of as many of your tweets that I have compiled from the past few days allows us all to reflect a very sad and emotional day in policing everywhere. Thoughts and prayers as always with the family of PC Andrew Harper. 🙏🏾

Firstly, speaking as a woman of colour; the local authority are responsible for housing residents, not the emergency services. Now speaking as a cop; this interview saddens me. As emergency responders we risk our lives to save anyone, without favour, malice, or ill will, end of.
Even before I became a firefighter, I take my children every year to lay flowers at Stephen Lawrence's plaque
There is absolutely no way myself or any colleagues would hesitate at any incident in order to save anyone
Colour wouldn't even come into consideration
All these cops are heroes, respect to the hijabi cop, it takes courage to join the job knowing vile people will try to discredit you for being different and true to yourself. An inspirational role model who is clearly respected by colleagues and cuts the mustard when it counts!!
@MrY_hackney
@metpoliceuk
This was a 10 mile pursuit involving firearms officers, helicopter and fast time decision making. We’ve seen a two minute clip; I don’t think you or I are in a position to say what they should have done. Most importantly, because of the cops action there were no injuries 🙏🏾
Found this letter dated 26/05/1983, this was my first of many applications to join the police. After 6 yrs, several rejections, 1989 I was in! 30 years later I’m still proud to be serving. Can’t think of many who get told to put on a stone to get their dream job!!
@metpoliceuk
It’s not often as a senior female Pakistani officer you receive official invitation from the British High Commission in Islamabad to represent British Policing. An honour to deliver training and this, my first trip after more than 50 years to the country of my birth. Icing on the
The family of Zara Aleena want to walk Zara home to bring her back safely where she belonged, join them, wear white, please respect that the mood will remain silent and somber.
@metecoban92
Maybe they were trying to do their job when you interrupted, did they tell you they were stopping them for no reason or is this your assumption and stopping people from getting stabbed can only be a good thing. This has been a tragic weekend across London
@JustACopper999
The Six Pence in this warrant card was given to me for good luck by a member of the public as a rookie in 1990. In 2012 my nephew joined the job, I passed it on to him, he’s with

and loves it. I’m a proud Aunt today as my other nephew, his little brother has just
Ok, I admit I’m a bit over the top I know, but I’m dressing up my Christmas Day dinner for one and safely happy with that because next year will be with everyone!! Thank you to all my followers, inc my critics. Cheers to you all, have a festive, fun bubbly and cool Yule! ♥️
It’s Ironic my father applied to be a Cop in Karachi & was rejected for exactly the same reason I initially was, ‘Too skinny’ but he was against my joining
@metpoliceuk
I rebelled and took my career choice, but I know he’d be very proud of my policing journey on this Father’s Day
It’s a proud day in policing for me today. Quick visit to

NSY to see my nephew from
@MPSFirearms
take few pics for my memory book in my last few weeks in policing, minus the emoji of course! Thanks to all our firearms command for protecting the people of London. ♥️

It’s a very special Friday night out for me as I walk into the 2019 London Asian Business Awards as a ‘Finalist’ and nominated by the public in ‘Woman Of The Year’ category. I feel like a winner already!
@metpoliceuk
♥️
Fully agree with you John. The tragedy of Stephen Lawrence changed policing for the better. However, it didn’t give Doreen the right to make grossly offensive comments. Fire officers openly cried with broken hearts. These comments are wrong, offensive and unfair on every level.
This is a really positive change of direction for
@metpoliceuk
DPS, early intervention, preventing restrictions, stress, resourcing impact. More of this will lead to reductions in disproportionate lengthy investigations. Recent newly appointed Chief Supt is clearly a good move.
I had the honour to work with Matt
@MPSHackney
a brilliant committed cop, he had a style that was totally engaging, and the local community loved him. Our hearts are broken today. You deserved so much more Matt. 💙

Countdown Day 5 Reflection; Today is my final ever duty
@metpoliceuk
and an honour to inspire others with my personal journey on the ‘Thin Black Line’

event. Detective or otherwise, I started and I finish my career in the uniform. Proud to have served London 🙏🏾
Eh, Eh!! Tomorrow I am officially on 31 Day countdown before handing in my warrant card and exit from policing. As I start cycling across Namibia it will be a good time to reflect and share my thoughts with you on policing in
@metpoliceuk
see you in the coming days!! ♥️
This is wrong on every level, this is not a peaceful protest,
#BlackLivesMatter
however, this attack on

on the very thousands of officers who are equally as disgusted with the murder of George Floyd and work hard to keep the public safe.
So proud of my little bro, he’s standing tall!! And

there’s no escaping us Chaudhri’s, I may have gone but along with my nephew
@MPSFirearms
command, watch this space, there will be more! Proud to have served 🙏🏾
@Cilvrnum
These are not off the shelf from M&S! Every vest/hoax bomb is different, home made, suspects don't wear them overtly, signs not obvious These are Terrorists, out to kill in mass, as for how long he’d been pursued? Probably since date of his release!! Seriously ridiculous tweet
Policing has been given a blanket ‘Racist’ label, wholly wrong! But, leaders must listen to internal race allegations and not interpret into a narrative that covers up the reality with unconscious bias if they want to build trust with communities. I am and was proud to serve.
From here in Madrid at the ‘Gender in Operations’ conference, the European Police Forces & Military wish to pay their respects to PC Andrew Harper. We salute you.

Sometimes you have to go the extra mile to say thanks. My Staff Officer has been brill, going over and above what I would expect. She mentioned she’d love to see a football match but never been. Well Cinderella, you will go to the Ball, The Football!

This is my nephew, age 25, same age I was when I joined
@metpoliceuk
Today after 16 months of waiting he was sworn into the Office of Constable, following into aunty Shabnam footsteps! Despite a roller coaster journey, I am, was proud to serve and hope he has an amazing career ♥️
I hear some elements in
@metpoliceuk
think it’s demeaning to refer to the arrested as prisoners, and they should be referred to as “service users” - Custody to prisoner, make yourself at home with our range of 5* facilities don’t matter you robbed a a gran of her life savings! 💩
Wow, I maybe wrong but
@metpoliceuk
new Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley and
@DameLynneOwens
could be the first within policing to swear their allegiance and oath to King Charles. One for the history books in policing. Best of best of luck
Let’s hope
@antisemitism
issue an apology to the
@metpoliceuk
officer for posting a message that they most likely knew would discredit the officer and the vilification by the public when all he was doing was his job!!!
Nice to be appreciated for my service to
@metpoliceuk
and invited as VIP to the Pride of Britain awards with my new bestie, Commissioner Dame Cressida! All the stars wanted their pics with me, ok maybe it was me. Great night, proud that we had our own MET Stevie Bull honoured.
Nephew one is an

officer, nephew two on

BCU. This is Nephew three on his first day out on patrol. I’m a proud aunt! The Met has a long way to go and despite my roller coaster ride I would never dissuade them from joining. The rest is up to them 💪🏾💪🏾
So, thanks for all the guessing, no return to the Met, no secret Santa, but a lovely afternoon collecting my Exemplary Certificate of Service From Commissioner Dame Cressida and now off to a retirement do!! Life is great, post

firearm cops threatened to throw down their guns when an officer was suspended after the killing of Chris Kaba. Armed officers now step back from duties as same officer faces murder trial. No one is above the law

courageous acts of bravery by the public. Thoughts with injured and lives lost 🙏🏾
Disgraceful leak that serves no purpose.

probationers learn on the job, it’s common to fail, get reassessed, it’s part of probationer. Those officers involved in the terrible murder of a loved Sergeant will still be suffering the trauma. I hope he’s being supported
@khan_sophie
The first rule of law is deal with the facts and the evidence, it’s absolutely right that lawyers protect the public against police, but your incompetence to misinterpret extracts of this case raise serious concerns for any potential clients that you represent. Read all remarks
What despicable vile acts committed against a vulnerable woman and a sickening read. DS Woodsford, SIO and her team conducted a meticulous investigation which has resulted in convictions for both these vile subjects, I can’t bring myself to call them men, because they’re not.

Cmdr Bennett suspended for past 3yrs earned over £350k!! Outcome tmrw for refusing drug test/honesty/integrity. There was uproar of Police Family after 2 cops sacked last week. Can only be 1 outcome? But then again he’s a Senior Leader
Agree, race, religion irrelevant these are just a vile bunch of twats, how would they feel if that was their mum, brother sister. Acting like the big man in a big group, hope they’re identified and parents publicly humiliate them!
My sister in-law barely speaks English, never watched football. Tonight she’s cooking Biryani and has 4 friends coming over. In her delightful broken, Asian accent she said “I watch

officers, most likely young officers in the early stages of their careers, demonstrating professionalism and the challenges they face everyday. Heartfelt thoughts with the family and loved ones of the victims. Suspect in custody investigation ongoing
Dramatic footage shows the moment police tasered and arrested a 36-year-old man after a stabbing attack in northeast London.
A 14-year-old has died and a further four people are in hospital following the attack.

I watched the clip, William was on pitch with many and the kids were at the fence when they went over to see them, the whole clip was lovely to watch and very engaging
Busy on call Pan London double shift, extensions, phone authorities, even managed to get patrols across 2 boroughs. Our cops across London are working non stop, long hours because it’s business as usual. Enjoy the sun this beautiful Easter weekend 🐣
Trying to work out why you think they look unprofessional, they’re cops, using common sense and taking shelter in the rain, prob keeping hands warm in Pockets, what’s the big deal, let’s hope they managed to stop off somewhere for a hot drink, respect to them
Eid Mubarak from here at the Faisal Mosque, Islamabad to all our partners, community and those celebrating Eid yesterday & today. It’s only taken me 50 + years to visit my country of birth. Next few days will be even more spectacular. Stay safe everyone, inshallah 🙏🏾
Lots of criticism on this, but this is what builds bridges, engagement and showing the human side of policing, the fact that the public joined in demonstrates that. Good to see they were all synced!!
Welcome to 2020 it’s such a cool number; 2020! Here’s wishing you all a safe year ahead, and I tweet this video because life’s for living, and living on the edge. A big thank you to all my followers, it’s meant a lot to me 🙏🏾

Today has been a day of reflection for me remembering my beautiful niece, Miss Nadiyah she didn’t get to be 18, she would be 21 today, a beautiful young lady. She did get her GCSE results and performer of the year before she left us, so proud of this little young princess ♥️
Sacked
@metpoliceuk
Commander Julian Bennett dedicated over 45 years to policing, the last three dogged with a Gros Misconduct.
The End?
No! The Met need to review all officer Misconduct hearings that he chaired between 2010 - 2016, he had a fierce reputation for sacking!
Commander Julian Bennett has been dismissed following the conclusion of a misconduct hearing.
AC Barbara Gray said his actions damaged not only the public’s trust in the Met but also the confidence of our own officers and staff.
