We are saddened to learn that Gretel H. Pelto, a pioneering & internationally respected scholar in applied nutrition, medical anthropology, & public health, has passed away. Dr. Pelto was a Fellow of the SfAA & received the distinguished SfAA Malinowski Award in 1996.
