The Ghibli art style is plain, uninspired, and the actual reasons people love it is because of the quality of stories the style has been attached to, and the fluidity and details of the animations it appears in, not the style itself. I get that it has an innocent charm to it

I'm tired of my game engine of choice making decisions based on business rather than functionality. I'm gonna switch to Godot eventually, cuz I've no other choice. Switching to Unreal only delays the issue, because Epic are just another big Corpo. The same will happen eventually.

I was about to reach out to Unity because there's a bug in the new Spline package and I thought I fixed it, but the bug is actually worse than I thought. Still trying to work around it.

Mediocre people will always try to be special. Using extraordinary tools made by other people to create soulless, mindless frames and then calling it their creation. Thing is, you can spot an idiot a kilometer away, so the illusion falls through pretty quickly.
