#WakeUpDeadManAKnivesOutMystery (2025)-This is a really good addition to the #KnivesOut mystery franchise. A fun film where Daniel Craig has a blast, though Josh O'Connor gets most of the screentime. Streaming on Netflix. #WakeUpDeadMan

#Snakehead (2021)-This crime thriller-drama about the illegal migration of Chinese folks into the U.S could have been either an action packed entertainer or a serious realistic take on the subject. But this film tries to be a bit of both and doesn't entirely succeed.

#Posthouse (2025)-This Filipino psychological horror film has an interesting premise & that's what made me curious enough to check it out. But in terms of the execution I felt that it could have been a lot better, this would ensured a better impact. Streaming on Netflix.

#TereIshkMein (2025)-But IMO I but I just didn't' feel for Shankar or Mukti and their ishk/ishq & along with a few good moments there are a lot more that are problematic too. Good to see authenticity in the way Tamil characters are depicted in the film though.

#TereIshkMein (2025)-Dhanush is a natural & Kriti Sanon also does justice to her character, but the issue with the film isn't the toxic love that is being talked about a lot.

#Kalamkaval (2025)-The other factor which helps is of course the casting, Mammootty is pitch perfect, Vinayakan playing his part well too. Playing now at the cinemas.

#Kalamkaval (2025)-Jithin K. Jose makes a confident debut with this Malayalam thriller, as seen by the execution of it. The film shows the power of novelty, the key difference in making it work and appear different despite the source material being adapted more than once earlier.

#Lee (2023)-An earnest biographical war drama driven by an admirable performance from Kate Winslet. Streaming on Lionsgate Play.

#Stephen (2025)-This Tamil psychological thriller is a mixed bag of sorts, very uneven & giving us too many questions that remain unanswered. Gomathi Shankar who portrays the titular role looks strangely very similar to Dhanush, but that doesn't really help the film.

#TheGreatPreWeddingShow (2025)-This Telugu comedy drama film is a fun tale with a lot of heart. Rooted and very realistic, it's an entertaining film that will leave you smiling all the way. Streaming on Zee5 after it's theatrical release.

#TheGirlfriend (2025)-Rashmika Mandanna is fantastic in the lead role, probably her finest performance so far. Streaming on Netflix after it's theatrical run.

#TheGirlfriend (2025)-This Telugu romantic drama isn't pitch perfect & a few things are questionable. Nevertheless it's a very relevant film from Rahul Ravindran, something that leaves one pondering, both while watching it and much later too.

#Jatadhara (2025)-This Telugu-Hindi bilingual supernatural horror film is so bad that it is good. Very curious to know what made the makers so confident of pulling off something like this, not just with one, but two language versions.

#AfterTheHunt (2025)-I really wish that the film had more to say, but alas that's not the case. Streaming on Amazon Prime.

#AfterTheHunt (2025)-Luca Guadagnino is one of the more interesting international filmmakers around now, exploring a variety of themes and subjects through his films. But this psychological thriller is an underwhelming fare, despite the stellar cast.

#Aaryan (2025)-The basic premise does carry potential, but can't say the same about the film overall as it sort of loses its way after a while. Streaming on Netflix after it's theatrical release.
