@NetworkChuck Nevermind! I went back thru your videos and found the live stream where you explain your process. 😁 Keep up the good work.

Lot of talk about Arc Browser “cleaning up the internet for you.” If AIs (Bing chat included) read our blogs, skip ads, and generate summaries, there’s no incentive for bloggers or writers to write. The AIs will quickly end up summarizing another AIs confidently generated crap.

My role has been eliminated 😭 The good news is I'm excited about what the future may hold! 😄 Do you know of a DevRel team looking for a creative content creator? 🥹 #devrel #developer #avocado #openforwork

Helping work test a programming evaluation tool. Had a timed test on Angular. Haven't written Angular in like 2.5 years, was in VueJS since then. I clearly did NOT retain the syntax specifics. Thankfully they've already hired me.😁

Working on learning Xamarin this week. Very different from the web stuff I've been doing. Always humbling to go to a new tech that you know nothing about. And today I was asked to learn Sharepoint. Anyone have good resources for beginners on that?

if a recruiter sends you a vague job description here are some quick questions you need to message them back to see the validity of the job... -whats the hiring managers name -how many people do you have interviewing for this role -how long have you worked on this position for

$10/mo seems awfully expensive for @GitHubCopilot to sell developers back their own code. Bad form @github Also feels like it’s going to help push a divide between poor & affluent devs.

Looks like the project I’m rolling onto in July for work will be using Xamarin. Kinda looking forward to finally having a reason to learn it. Anyone have any good Xamarin resources? Thx

Yesterday we finished the .NET 5 -> .NET 6 upgrade! Stack Overflow is now running on .NET 6 across all servers 🥳 Worth mentioning that it was a much smoother move than upgrading from .NET 3.1 -> .NET 5

Do they still teach typing as a class in High Schools? That would be my first advice to any young developer, learn to touch type. It will save you so much time over your career.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to tighten up a banister like this one? Seems a bit wiggly to me.

Joined the official ranks of adults today and closed on the first house to ever have my name on the paperwork. It’s both super exciting and scary all in one. But more importantly, we now have more than one toilet!🚽🚽🚽

The ice sheet atop your car will easily dislodge. It will either go forward and cover your windshield or go backwards and damage the car behind you. Clear it off before you go.

Ok, .NET Devs, I have API1 that generates JWTs. Web API2 needs authenticated using JWTs from API1. Anyone have examples of using JWTs generated by other api to authenicate/authorize an api? Thanks.

Wife bought me a pair of Airpods Pro for Christmas. It's pretty ridiculous how well the noise cancelling works in these. And I don't get that weird head sensation like I typically get with other NC headphones.

Interesting idea. I would definitely entertain the idea of a longer weekend in lieu of higher salary.
imma say this now and put it on record i think we start seeing the emergence of the 4 day work week the companies that can't pay market rate will start to move to 4 day work weeks to keep a leg up on the market
