Supercritical airfoils suggest speed of around 800-900km/h, but every report/video of them being shoot down is at 600km/h. Did they misscalculate speed by 300km/h or missile goes 900km/h in specific scenarios that would compensate for 600km/h average cruise?

I overlooked cooling. Small but powerful force feed air system should be the way to go. It has to allow engine made for 4kW work at 8-12kW. ESC will transfer heat to metal wing surfaces.

Torque from propeller is so big that it bends/vibrates frame at high power. Reinforcement should help

Today cat knocked osciloscope off the lab table so he could sleep on it.

Tests show that whole chain has efficiency of around 3 g/W DJI Mavic 3 has 7g/W. My requirement is 10g/W Theres a lot of space for chain upgrades - balancing, connections, prop, engine. Engine and connections seem to be waste a lot of power.

Hub broke and propeller flew upwards, hit the celling and was hovering there for 5 seconds. Looks like efficiency is quite good lol

I wish so much that i could use them, but they are 200$ each, horrible to program for and cost fortune, have to rely on external SOM instead. PCB design would be devastating also

I will be likely going away from lift engine to gimbaled props in final version. prototype will be aero stable and has a flight time goal of 45 minutes in hover and ground speed goal of 170km/h. single FPV VTX and analog cam + LFLDCM, so range will be something like 2 km.

Prototype model is nearly finished, only smaller cosmetic things are left. Real thing is under construction, i hope soon i will be able to show finished parts of it. Now there will be a lot of work related to electronics and software.
