As a trans woman, I believe the reason anti-communists push that whole “MLs are transphobic” myth is just guilt/projection that it is not their societies, but ML ones, which have done the most for trans people in healthcare, poverty elimination, housing, employment, family, etc.

There have been multiple strikes, stoppages, slowdowns as a protest by the NYPD many years across several decades and each time the result is same. We aren't just talking about less arrests because they were all off eating donuts, but less deaths and complaints by civilians too:
