Last week, I joined @GovKathyHochul at the @NYCommonPantry in East Harlem as the Governor announced a food state of emergency along with an additional allocation of $65M for food assistance programs due to the potential loss of SNAP benefits. (1/2)

Yesterday, I was happy to deliver my community report at the monthly meeting of the PSA 5 Community Council in East Harlem. Thanks to the board members, residents, and officers for all that they do. It was also great to speak with the young people of the PSA 5 Explorers program!

Yesterday’s Emergency Preparedness Training seminar in East Harlem was an important opportunity for residents to learn ways to prepare for an emergency or extreme weather event. All participants received a backpack filled with important emergency supplies. (1/2)
