Senate Bill 1740 passed the Senate today which initiates the reduction of unnecessary school code mandates agreed upon by statewide educational stakeholders. I'm very proud of the work Senator Edly-Allen and I put into this legislation! More here: https://t.co/26JJf2H8ZJ

Not sure what a REAL ID is or if you need one? Starting May 7, Illinois residents will need it to fly domestically or enter federal facilities. Learn more and book an appointment: https://t.co/BwNuAglXxa

The Greater Joliet Area YMCA Gala never disappoints! Funds raised benefit the Y’s scholarship assistance program, which helps to ensure that no one is turned away from the YMCA due to the inability to pay. I love supporting this gala and our local YMCA's!

As we go through the remainder of the budget process, it’s essential we take a responsible approach to spending. I’m hopeful we can come together and pass a budget that supports working families, strengthens communities and keeps Illinois moving forward. https://t.co/sOnRMxCZI2

I had the best time at Shorewood Hugs Chocolate Ball! They are a local women's organization that gives back to those in the community by hosting unique events & raising funds to fulfill wishes for those in need. To date, we have fulfilled over 1,300 wishes.
