So much fun visiting the Grafton Housing Authority yesterday for its first annual BBQ! It was wonderful seeing so many friendly faces while we enjoyed some delicious burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, and sides.

In the future, stores might use cameras to identify you as you walk through the doors and display individualized prices based on what they think you are willing to pay. I want to ban this practice because the cost of groceries are already high enough.

I introduced a bill, S.1016, with Rep Sabadosa which would ban algorithmic price fixing statewide because housing prices are out of control. Large corporate landlords finding sneaky ways of evading anticompetitive laws using algorithms & third party software is wrong. (2/2).

One of America's largest landlords just settled a price-fixing case with the DOJ after it was accused of using AI algorithms to raise rents on tenants in Worcester and across the country. (1/2).

The MA National Guard stands as our protecting force. But currently, communication between the Guard and the Governor gets caught up in bureaucracy. I introduced a bill to fix this by elevating the leader of the National Guard to a cabinet-level position.

This weekend was Vernon Hill American Legion Post 435's LEGO Ride For Kids with Cancer! I joined riders from the community to rally in the fight against childhood cancer and to support organizations like Why Me & Sherry's House, UMass Memorial, & Notre Dame Pedi Pals.

This week, Boston hosted the 2025 NCSL Legislative Summit, and I've been having a great time meeting elected officials from all over the country. It has been a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas, talk about the latest tech, and collaborate on critical issues.

Bikeshares are back in Worcester with the launch of Metro Mobility's ebikes! So excited to welcome these striking red bikes, brought to town in partnership with WRTA, to help residents get around quickly, safely, and affordably.

Last night was Worcester's National Night Out hosted by Worcester Police Department, and I had so much fun! This annual event is an incredible opportunity for members of the community to get together and a moment for WPD to build stronger connections with the city they serve.

Yesterday, the Senate voted to ban cell phones in the classroom, creating the framework for public school systems where our kids are focusing on what they’re there to do – to learn, grow, and socialize in real life, not behind screens.

The Special Legislative Commission on Emerging Firearm Technology, which I co-chaired with Rep Lipper-Garabedian, has been studying these advancements. This week, we voted to publish our final report, including recommendations to further explore these two new technologies.

My bill banning the use of public funds on PFAS-containing turf fields is about one thing: protecting people, animals, and our environment from toxic chemicals known to cause cancer and other serious health conditions.

Thank you to ALDF, MSPCA-Angell, Mass Audubon, The Humane Society, New England Wildlife Center, and so many other organizations for being at the State House today to urge action on rodenticides. Their tireless work is critical to protecting animals across the Commonwealth.

Anticoagulant rodenticides are powerful poisons that should only be used in extreme situations where its effects can be contained — I am hopeful that my colleagues will support these reasonable restrictions and act on this bill.

Rep Jim Hawkins and I hosted a Protect Animals Lobby Day to promote our bill restricting the use of anticoagulant rodenticides in MA! S.644 protects children, wildlife, and our ecosystems from dangerous poisons that are often unintentionally ingested or passed up the food chain.
