National Volunteer Week, April 14th to 20th, is a time for us to recognize our volunteers and celebrate the contributions they’re making. We at Selwyn Public Library would like to convey our deepest gratitude to all of our wonderful, talented and friendly volunteers.

Pop into the SPL Makerspace this Saturday for a quick tour around the space. Learn what programs and services we offer and ask us the questions you've had on your mind. Open between 12 noon and 2 p.m.

We are looking for teens who are interested in contributing to their library by sharing ideas and helping to develop services and programs for teens. Meet other teens and earn community involvement hours! Next meeting is Thurs, March 21 from 6 -7:30 pm at the Lakefield Library.

Interlibrary loan is a free service that enables our patrons to borrow physical materials and receive electronic documents that are held by other libraries across Ontario! Ask for an interlibrary loan request form at one of our three library branches.

Join us at the SPL Makerspace for this creative spring program! In this beginner class we will experiment with two different decoupage styles on wood. Feel free to bring your own napkins if you have a design you'd like to use.

The Library Leprechaun has lost his shamrocks again! Visit any branch and grab a hunt sheet from the front desk to help him out. Once you’ve found them all, turn in your hunt sheet by March 16th for a chance to win a prize bag for you and your family!
