Anyone else still making lists with pen & paper?.Today i learned that neuroscientists call us *cognitive offloaders*. We're basically transferring data out of the brain to make more room, freeing.up mental bandwidth for more creativity, problem-solving, & emotional processing.

If you live near a beach, always vital to follow the alerts. If you're at a beach, always critical to move to higher ground asap if you feel a quake, if the tide suddenly recedes, or if there are warnings.

The Kamchatka tsunami appears to have not been catastrophic, although disruptive waves hit beaches across the Pacific. The size of a tsunami depends on how much the fault moved at the seafloor. Not all great quakes are created equal in this respect.

June 27 (local time), 2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the magnitude 6.6 Clarkston Valley, Montana, earthquake, which caused heavy damage to churches, school & other masonry buildings in the area. Since 1900, six quakes larger than M6 have occurred in Montana and NW Wyoming.
