論文でました！ 甲羅が特徴のカメは、他にも多くの形態が特殊化しています。この研究では新たに鼻先の血管系に着目し、固有なパターンが系統に沿って少しずつ進化した様子を明らかにするとともに、"最初期のカメ"プロガノケリスはむしろ他の爬虫類に近い祖先的な状態を保持していたことを示しました。
