The U.S. Senate voted 53-44 to confirm DeAndrea G. Benjamin to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Benjamin is a 1997 alumna of USC’s School of Law.

Workers at a Trader Joe's in Louisville, KY have voted 48-36 to unionize. This is the third TJ's to unionize, after Hadley, MA and Minneapolis. Workers at Brooklyn TJ's voted against unionizing in the fall.
