'If you go down to the woods today...' you'll find Year 9 enjoying #9Inspire @Sed_Classics week. Pupils are enjoying a lesson in Akay woods looking at archaeological evidence on the ground. This is complimented by a lesson examining archival primary source material @Sed_Academic

What a treat to share stories from @SedberghSchool 's 500 year history with visiting pupils from Sedbergh School Vietnam and Sedbergh School Fuzhou. The pupils are gathering anecdotes to make a video about the ethos of all three Sedbergh Schools, and sharing stories of their own.

What a treat yesterday to deliver a lecture on 'Treasures of the Archives' in @cargilfield school chapel. Headmaster Rob Taylor spoke of the historic links between the two schools and referenced Francis Renton @Sed_Sedgwick 1901 - 1905, remembered on memorials in both schools.

It was wonderful to welcome such enthusiastic @SedberghEA pupils to the archive this morning. The boys are undertaking private research projects on aspects of @SedberghSchool history. I look forward to seeing their presentations later this term.
Today, EAL pupils Fabio and Jan visited @SedberghArchive - they were full of questions for our school archivist!

What a pleasure to visit Mr Molnar's @SedberghEnglish class to discuss @Evans_Sedbergh war poet Robert Sterling (1908-12). @Sed_Academic O Brother, I have sung no dirge for thee: Nor for all time to come Can song reveal my grief's infinity: The menace of thy silence made me dumb

This weekend Sedbergh School welcomes back our pupils from around the globe. The cricket pitch is ready for any parents dropping their children off by plane, following the example of these folks from August 1914... another treasure from our archive collection.

Another Y12 IELTS class visit to the fascinating @SedberghArchive Alex, Konstantin and Lukas @Sed_Sedgwick had the opportunity to view a Nasal Atomizer that was used in Sedgwick House in the 1920s. The rugby ball that has been to space was also a favourite!
