Organized within the EU4Energy project, funded by the European Union, Panel XII was held under the title “The Role of Critical Minerals in the Energy Transition and the Impact on Sustainable Development”.

During the first day of the Conference, one of the keynote speakers was Branko Debeljak, General Director of the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant (TEŠ). As a keynote speaker, Mr. Debeljak spoke on the topic: "The Climate Challenge and the Future of the Power Sector in BiH."

One of the keynote speakers was Nikos Tsakalidis, Team Leader – Senior Energy Expert within the EU4Energy project operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The topic of the opening speech, which was delivered online, was: "What Does This Mean for the Power Sector?"
