A relative of a friend of mine broke down on the motorway with his family. Along came a stranger, who insisted on helping; giving him the keys to his own car so that he could take his family home before resolving the problem. Where else in the world does that happen?

Dear me, when I travel I spend half my time arguing with people about

. I really don't see how a rational person can have a valid opinion about a country they have never been to.

Hi Dave, that’s not the point. The point is, however a conservative a muslim you might be, you cannot prevent muslim women from doing these things.

It was a hostile place to photograph. There were some friendly faces, but during my time there I was bitten by two dogs, thrown stones at and told to go back to my country. Relatable when you consider the impact that foreigners have had on their lives over time.

I love the weather there Gonzalo. It changes every 5 minutes, so if the light is too soft or too strong, you can just wait a while. Makes it much easier for taking great pictures.
@JaklineMoon
Hi Jacqueline. I loved the weather there, its so changeable that if you are not happy with the lighting you can just wait 5 minutes and the mood will be completely different.

I am from the West too Cris, I'm from England. Saudi culture is very interesting and worth preserving. I don't like the way it is being eroded by Western imports.
