You don't need THIS MUCH de-icing material to keep your sidewalks clear during winter weather. NOW is the time to get de-icer and a snow shovel to prepare for any ice and snow we might have this season. Bookmark our winter weather response page: https://t.co/FZs4npZbJk

Building this missing piece to the city’s bike network wasn’t simple. The historic nature of Pioneer Square and the age of the infrastructure made adding modern bike and signal improvements complicated, requiring careful design and coordination.

This project fills a gap in the City Center Bike Network & creates a much-anticipated, safer connection between Pioneer Square, downtown, and the waterfront. Construction began this week with underground work, & more visible changes on the street will follow in the coming weeks.
