Happy #NationalLighthouseDay! #OTD in 1789, Congress approved an act to support lighthouses, beacons, buoys, and piers. #LighthouseKeepers Ida Lewis and Katherine Walker are both remembered for their exceptional service and for challenging beliefs of what work women could do.
