I’ve never been more proud than I am of my incredible wife today. Nursing school is incredibly tough and demanding under any circumstances, but to absolutely obliterate as she has while continuing to be super mom to our small kids and a wonderful wife to me is just astounding. ❤️

We met this adorable little lady this evening, and absolutely fell in love with her. Her foster was supposed to visit with several other people who also put in applications for her, but not long after she left we were told by the manager of the rescue organization she is ours! 😍

One pretty cool aspect of the Canucks standing pat today that I had not previously considered is that b/c no one got shipped out with the exception of Kuzmenko everyone who has contributed to this special and most unexpectedly successful season gets to see it through to the end.

This may be an unpopular notion, but JR/PA have earned my trust. We know they are very aggressive, and if they don’t pull the trigger on this or that trade it’s because they have both long and short term plans that are not in keeping with the ask. I think some faith is in order.

I was then living relatively happy and carefree in Whistler before I succumbed to full-blown alcoholism.
The story ends well though, as that helped pave the way for who I am today, a much better and stronger person in every way.

I got my wife a Magic Bag a while back because it sometimes helps her when she has cramps, and my wife and I refer to it as her “rag bag.” My 6 year old son has taken to using one for his leg cramps, and there are few things funnier than him asking for HIS “rag bag.” 😂
