I need to book a room in Dublin for next week. Rooms available from €89. Reality is Patrick’s Day fills in Dublin 3 mths in advance. The media reports on prices the week before 17th when Dublin is fully booked for months. People should not support those charging crazy rates

If true would be a double whammy. Damaging 20k businesses & damaging public as Vat hike means price rises. @JimPowerEcon report showed a Vat hike would add 4.1% inflation to food and accom prices & risk 24k jobs. Time for Gvt to tread carefully.
