I support the Voice to Parliament 100%. If you look at the Uluru Statement from the Heart you will see my signature on it. It's time that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians had their voices heard on the issues that affect us. #VoiceToParliament #VoteYes

Our town of Alice Springs is facing a lot of challenges right now. Be assured that the Labor Government is committed to doing what we can to restore order to our community.
All Australians deserve to live in safe and healthy communities. I’m here in Alice Springs to meet with community groups, council, the NT Government and frontline services, to hear about the urgent challenges they're facing.

This is an amazing video shot during the Wulirankuwu celebrations. We need to celebrate these achievements in our remote Aboriginal communities. The Wulirankuwu Traditional Owners on the Tiwi Islands have backed themselves and laid the foundations to make generational change.

Read my article about why the CDC had to go and how the Labor Government is transitioning card users to a voluntary enhanced income management card. https://t.co/4QNPod4Rcw

The Cashless Debit Cardwas a privatized and discriminatory form of income management that was found to be ineffective...

The card failed to restrict participants spending money on grog and gambling services and was found to be a bad policy that discriminated against Indigenous people.

From talking to people in communities I was told first-hand that the CDC caused a deep feeling of disrespect and shame to those who were forced to use it.

.@SenatorWong today affirming our commitment to bring the Restoring Territory Rights Bill to a vote by the end of the year. I've been fighting for territory rights for over a decade. My message is clear: I won't stop until the job is done.

This will give over 6,000 indigenous families access to childcare. We know how important school readiness is in closing the gap. That's why this initiative is so crucial to the lives of so many young indigenous Australians.

It's time that we had transparency and accountability in Parliament.
Australians want to see public officials, whether they be politicians or public servants, act in their interest. They want to see transparency and accountability. The Albanese government will deliver a powerful National Anti-Corruption Commission.

After 4 years of inquiries and academic reports into the Coalition’s Cashless Debit Card it was established that it was ineffective in reducing trauma and domestic violence. This is why Labor is committed to abolishing this failed program. #auspol
