Many love to hate on Roblox but very few seem to understand the massive effort Roblox puts into these sorts of problems Meta had leaks where they literally treated child mental health issues caused by their app as PR issues, not platform issues Roblox is a breath of fresh air

The 14 categories look like this, with one assigned to each scene (pic 1) For vector space mapping I just ask claude to map 15 descriptors (pic 2) to a table (pic 3) Then I blend all 3 together and I'm able to somehow get a half decent yet instant search system!

had a LOT of fun implementing search into Clip It today 200 scenes each labeled w/ one of 14 categories + a 15d vector describing it was able to make a pretty powerful & lightning fast text search top is just string match, bottom is string+category+vector space #RobloxDev

Something interesting happened with Clip It this past week. We launched an update that dynamically loads scenes as they're needed instead of keeping all 184 of them in ReplicatedStorage Our crash rates fell to 1/3 of their previous values.. for 2 days Then.. (1/2)
