I’m heartbroken to share that yesterday, I said goodbye to my firstborn son Antron. The two of us shared a love for basketball and we had countless conversations about the game. (1/3)
Please keep his mom, Karen, and all of his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. A kind heart and beautiful soul gone way too soon. I love you, son, rest easy until we meet again. 🙏🏾 (3/3)
Antron suffered from chronic asthma and if he hadn’t had it, I truly believe he would've made it to the NBA. He never let that get him down, though—Antron stayed positive and worked hard, and I am so proud of the man that he became. (2/3)
I loved everything about Jerry Sloan, from the way he played to the way he coached. He was a tenacious competitor who represented the Bulls of the 70s so well. Jerry became one of my favorite coaches when he was on the 1996 Dream Team staff and it was an honor to learn from him.
It still feels like a horrible dream, but I wanted to share a few words about Kobe as we mourn losing him, his beautiful daughter Gianna, and the others who tragically passed.
I'm heartbroken to look back at this moment. Cliff Robinson was so important to his
#Blazers
teams and I always enjoyed competing against him. Another brother who left us long before his time. You'll be missed, Uncle Cliffy. RIP

Very sad day for basketball. We saw David Stern a lot in the 90s and I found him to be kind, thoughtful and almost always the smartest person in the room. He was an innovator who helped grow our sport into a global game and his impact will never be forgotten. RIP, Commissioner.
Reminder:
@ScottiePippen
didnt start a HS game until Senior year. His only offer was to be a team manager at NAIA college Central Arkansas. He had to work to stay in school & be considered part of the basketball team.
I'll always wish I had one more conversation with Kobe. For all his greatness and everything he accomplished, his best days were still to come. My thoughts are with the family and friends of Kobe, Gianna, and all the others who were taken from us far too soon a year ago today.
Bill Russell was the epitome of a champion, in every sense of the word. He was an innovator who broke through barriers and for all of his extraordinary successes on the court, he was just as impactful off of it. (1/2)

Congrats to the
@trailblazers
on getting back to the conference finals! First trip since I called Portland home... can’t wait to see Dame, CJ and the guys take on the defending champs.
Shout out to
@manuginobili
on a legendary career! He knows how to compete and he knows how to WIN. 16 seasons. 4 championships. Surefire Hall of Famer.

Tex Winter was my biggest critic. He was also my biggest fan. A few words about the legendary coach who lived his 96 years as well as anyone could have...
About time! I loved playing with TK and he was so important to our second three-peat teams. He absolutely belongs in the
@hoophall
and I look forward to him joining us this fall.

Gale Sayers was someone who I admired long before I arrived in Chicago. I loved his approach to the game and of course, how he played it. He inspired me to be great in a city that loves sports like no other. RIP to one of the
@NFL
’s best ever.

@ChicagoBears
I love seeing
@drose
playing like his old self again. Drawing double teams, making plays, and now emerging as a more vocal leader. He’s a great asset for the
@Timberwolves
.
Another spectacular career comes to an end with the great
@DwyaneWade
hanging it up. DWade reminded me a little of MJ in terms of his overall efficiency and effectiveness on both ends of the court.
One of the best moments I’ve experienced as a father was being by
@spippenjr
’s side as his dream came true. Deuce, you worked hard, didn’t take any shortcuts, and pushed yourself to make this happen.
Another dream accomplished, for him and for me. Congrats, son, you make me so proud every single day and I can’t wait to see you play on the next level!
@spippenjr
Gm 🙌🏾 Thanks to everyone who's been guiding me while I've been learning this new world of Web3.
Been having some great conversations, can't wait to share more.
I’m just answering the questions y’all asking me. You wanted the headlines, you got them - dig deeper to find out why I actually said what I said instead of framing your questions to get clicks. It’s all love! 🖤
Emotional day at Nike EYBL in Virginia after the passing of James Hampton. My thoughts go out to the young man’s family, friends and teammates. RIP, James. 🙏🏿
I remember when Kobe first got into the league. I told MJ during a workout, "This kid plays like you, talks like you, walks like you, he even sticks his tongue out like you. He's going to be special."
