Random observation for Thursday's Sweet 16 game: As one might expect with a fast-paced offense, Arkansas has consistently secured early leads during its 7-game win streak. In the opening 10 minutes of those contests, the Razorbacks are a combined +53 (+7.6 per game). 1/4

Bobby Dalbec playing professionally in Japan after nine seasons in the majors and minors following the end of his Arizona career 10 years ago. He is playing for the Yomiuri Giants of the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) League.
Bobby Dalbec hit his first homer over in Japan. He’s a spring training demon even over there.

UA fans stood by Miller through the tournament heartbreak. Then there was the scandal, decline & his ultimate firing. If he were to return with the richest ath.dept & get to his 1st F4 while extending our misery, I would be crushed. We will see if my head or heart wins on Thu.

The Sean Miller thing. 1) Ark is a great team with a top-3 pick & it will be tough to beat them. 2) Tex/Pur play 1st so we can talk about it. 3) My head knows Pur is better & it would help UA if they lost. 4) My heart could not tolerate losing to Sean Miller in the Elite 8.🧵

NCAAT didn't expand to 32 teams until 1975. But that graphic shows (along with media guides for all these schools) that everybody else claiming S16's from the '50s. UA was among the final 16 teams in the field in 1951. It should be counted as our first "Sweet 16" appearance.
