Democratic legislators say they weren't allowed to enter Alligator Alcatraz. F.S. 944.23 says legislators can visit "all state correctional institutions." This location was put together by Fla's emergency managmeent agency.

GOP lawmakers in Florida swore they wanted to provide tax relief to hard-working Floridians, either by cutting sales or property taxes. They did neither, opting instead to cut $1 billion in taxes for businesses.

It's interesting that Florida claims to consider illegal immigration an "emergency" level problem when, right after issuing that "emergency" declaration, GOP leaders passed a law that gives a free pass to employers caught making illegal hires.
